Choosing the right service depends on your child’s specific needs and preferences. If you prefer a hands-on approach and comprehensive support throughout the entire process, our Full-Service options may be the best fit for you. If you’re comfortable managing the application process independently but would like assistance with school recommendations, our Limited Service may be a better choice.

During the consultation process, Karl will meet with you and your child to assess your educational priorities, goals, and preferences. Karl will discuss his services in detail and answer any questions you may have about the school selection and application process.

Scheduling a consultation is easy! You can reach out to Karl through the below website contact form, email, or phone. He’ll respond promptly to schedule a convenient time for your consultation.

Regardless of services, background information helps clarify the educational goals and needs of the student and family. In order to formulate a list of possible appropriate schools or programs, strategize on the application, and develop sense of what specific services are needed, we will ask that you provide copies of:

  1. Grades and teacher comments from the current year, plus the two prior years.
  2. The results of any standardized testing (e.g. SSAT, ERB/CAPT 5, Stanford, )
  3. Any academic distinctions or awards (e.g. Johns Hopkins CTY, Duke TIP, National Latin Award)
  4. Any individual psychological and/or educational evaluations, IEPs, or 504 plans
  5. Many schools will ask for a graded writing sample from the current school year to accompany the application.  Please include that if you have it.  Ideally, it would have commentary from the teacher along with the letter grade or percentage.

*Most of this material can be forwarded from the current school at your request. Not all families will have documentation in all categories.
